Wikipedia

If you are unfamiliar with a topic, Wikipedia can be a good starting point for gathering general background information.  Use Wikipedia entries to familiarize yourself with terms related to your topic.  Make a note of these terms and use them when you search for more in depth materials. Also, scroll down to the Notes, References and External Links portions of an entry.  These sections will often lead you to great authoritative sources of information.  As always, evaluate the sites you use.
