EDU: Praxis and Other Tests for Future Teachers: LearningExpress Library

LearningExpress Library contains practice tests and ebooks to help you prepare for WI Foundations of Reading, Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators tests and Praxis Subject Assessments (formerly Praxis II.  Tests can be found in the Career Preparation Center under Prepare for an Occupational Exam. The first time you access Learning Express, click Sign In/Register on menu bar to set up an account.

Choose from:

• Prepare for the Praxis Core Tests
• Prepare for the Praxis II Subject Assessments
• Prepare for the MTEL (similar to WI Foundations of Reading).

If your practice test score reveals additional learning is needed, you will be referred to other tutorials, ebooks and exercises within LearningExpress.  Help is also available in Spanish. 

Follow these directions to access test preparation materials. 

1. Use the link above to access Learning Express.  
2. Log in with the same credentials you use to access your college email or Blackboard.  
3. Click Sign In/Register on the menu bar. 
4. If this is your first visit, click Register and follow the directions to set up a personal account. Be sure Your Institution is set to BadgerLink-Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. 
5. Click Register button at bottom of form to complete the process. 
6. You will be logged in and ready to go.
7. Hover over Centers (top menu bar) to view options. 
8. Hover over Career Preparation to reveal choices.
9. Select Prepare for An Occupation Exam. 
10. Scroll to teaching section.
11. Select a test.  Numerous choices will appear.
12. Click Start Test to begin.
