Wisconsin applicants for initial licensure as an elementary teacher (grades K-5), EC, EC-MC, MC-EA), a special education teacher, a reading teacher or reading specialist must take the Wisconsin Foundations of Reading Test and receive a passing score. The Wisconsin Foundations fo Reading Test is similar to the MTEL Foundations of Reading Test. Practice tests for either can be helpful to you.
