Google ScholarGoogle Scholar is a searchable database of citations and full-text scholarly articles. It is often useful for finding articles that may be free, but are held on a site or database outside of the library's own. It should be noted that its searching is somewhat less customizable than the average library database, as Google's algorithm focuses on words in titles and citation counts. While this will typically produce highly cited articles near the top of the list, it will not always lead to the most relevant articles being found first.
